Bed Among the Lentils by Alan Bennett

About the show

The Vicar, His Wife and The Grocer.

Winter rolls into summer and Susan catches a glimpse of life as it should be.

Oscar nominee, Tony and Bafta winner Alan Bennett weaves a tale of three people and a congregation of the Vicar’s ‘fans’ edged with jealousy, lust, redemption and a grocer with ‘lovely teeth’.

Rose Henderson is Susan who stumbles across life and a glimpse of reality. Parish life will never be the same again.
