What to expect

Discover Colourings, a bright, sensory‑friendly exhibition by artist Lucy Hill, created especially for Draíocht’s 25th birthday. This interactive space is filled with soft sculptures, gentle sounds, and bold colours that invite exploration, curiosity and calm engagement. Inspired by Lucy’s own joyful scribbles, the artworks can be touched, moved, and rearranged, encouraging children to make choices, collaborate, and play at their own pace.

Perfect for July Provision groups, this visit supports sensory regulation, creative expression, and meaningful connection. Students can enjoy a relaxed, hands‑on experience in a welcoming environment designed to meet a wide range of learning styles and needs.

These are open ended engagement sessions, where children can move around and engage at their own pace in a supported way.

July Provision Workshops are free, but pre-booking is essential.
July Provision Workshops are suitable for all age groups.
Capacity: Maximum capacity of 14 pupils + teachers per workshop

The Summer Programme / July Provision gives educational support during the summer to:

Children with complex special educational needs, and
Children most at risk of educational disadvantage.

All primary schools, post-primary schools (including DEIS schools), and special schools can provide a Summer Programme.
