Crooked House Theatre Company Presents HouseWork

Crooked House Theatre Company Presents HouseWork

About the show

Join us for an evening where we share the work we have been doing with our community theatre projects since September. We will see short performances from our Houselights and Women’s Shed groups who explore and celebrate the challenges and joys of being older and wiser. These two groups have devised their own work with Martina Smith and Yassine Barkaoui over the previous months.

Houselights is funded by Kildare County Council Arts Service.

Joining them on the night will be our international artists and students who have come to Newbridge to give their time to our community helping make creative projects happen. They are theatre-makers and students from Europe and the Mediterranean, who have devised a play to introduce themselves to you, directed by Yassine Barkaoui. Their volunteering is funded by the Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps programmes of the EU.

Please note, this is a reduced capacity event due to expected building works on an adjacent KCC building, Newbridge Library. Riverbank Arts Centre's seating plan may be subject to change to accommodate these works.
