Family Drop-in events in the Dead Zoo Lab
What to expect
Join a free drop-in family activity at the Dead Zoo Lab, National Museum of Ireland – Collins Barracks. Explore Irish wildlife through fun, hands-on activities led by Museum Educators.
Get up close to real and replica natural history specimens, including furs, fossils and bones, and learn about habitats such as bogs, oceans, parks and beaches. Each short activity lasts 5–10 minutes and is followed by a self-guided drawing activity inspired by the animals on display.
Suitable for families with children aged 7+, with all children supervised by an adult. No booking required.
