Highly Strung: All Wrapped Up

Highly Strung: All Wrapped Up

About the show

Embrace the enchantment of the season with the ladies of Highly Strung as they present their annual Christmas concert, a treasured festive tradition that has become a highlight of the Christmas calendar.  Mellow performances for voice (Angela O’Toole), flute (Jeanette Behan), violin (Lisa Lazenby) and harp (Mary Keenan) weave together timeless Christmas classics, beloved seasonal favourites and beautifully crafted new acoustic arrangements, creating an evening of elegance and wonder. This evening’s concert features special guest appearances from distinguished tenor Mark Trundle and much-loved compere, Caroline Malone, whose annual poem offers a delightfully wry reflection on the year's events.

Join us for a celebration of music, laughter and festive spirit in an atmosphere of warmth and refinement. An unforgettable evening that captures the true magic of Christmas and is simply not to be missed.

Please note, this is a reduced capacity event due to expected building works on an adjacent KCC building, Newbridge Library. Riverbank Arts Centre's seating plan may be subject to change to accommodate these works.
