Opera Collective Ireland presents Mansfield Park, Jonathan Dove's acclaimed chamber opera based on Jane Austen's beloved novel. Directed by Patrick Mason and conducted by David Parry, this intimate production features the 14-piece Opera Collective Ensemble and an outstanding cast of emerging Irish artists. Bold designs by Catherine Fay and Paul Keogan create a striking visual world, while Dove's lyrical score captures the wit, emotion and complexity of Austen's characters. Fresh, compelling and accessible, Mansfield Park offers a rewarding experience for seasoned opera lovers and those discovering opera for the first time.
