About the event

It is designed to welcome new audiences while delighting seasoned concertgoers with National Symphony Orchestra Ireland, and the critically acclaimed British saxophonist Jess Gillam, MBE as guest soloist, all under the leadership of Alexander Shelley.

A charismatic and exciting performer and broadcaster, Jess was the first ever saxophonist signed to Decca Classics, and made history as first saxophonist to reach the finals of the BBC Young Musician Competition ten years ago.
