Dig – A Performance Lecture
Date: Wed 16 Dec
Location: Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge

Join us for some relaxed and paced online creative writing workshops designed to support people with Long Covid (as well as other isolating health conditions such as ME/CFS). No writing experience necessary – just a pen, paper and willingness to participate.
For this first workshop, bring a picture of (or do the workshop from) a place that gives you joy and sustenance in recovery – it could be the view from an upstairs window, a chair outside the back door or on a balcony.
The workshops will be paced for brain fog and aim to help with concentration, to spark joy and create connections. A firefly moment of recovery. If on the day you are having a dip, please feel free to join from bed and just listen.
Sessions are designed and run by poet Nell Regan, whose latest book is Thirty-Six Views of the Sugarloaf (Arlen House, 2026) and who has herself been in recovery from Long Covid.
Follow up sessions on 14 Jan & 11 Mar 2027 are designed as a follow-on to session one, however, it is not necessary to sign up to all.
Please note that this is an online workshop, participants will need a stable internet connection and device to access ZOOM
