About the show
Created by composer Roger Doyle and performer Olwen Fouéré, Operating Theatre is an avant garde music and performance group formed in the 1980s.
Twenty years after they had last been on stage together, they reconvened for a moving retrospective performance at the National Concert Hall in 2025 to great acclaim followed by another rare appearance at the Gate Theatre, Dublin, in September 2026.
