Long ago, The Tuatha Dé Danann ruled Ireland. The Dagda was their leader. He was known as The Good God, and through the magical power of his harp, he brought peace to the people and spread harmony throughout all of nature.
But that harmony was threatened when the giant, Balor, threw the world into chaos, and threatened the rule of the Dagda. Can the Tuatha Dé Danann prevail, and can the enchanting music of the harp restore harmony to the land and its people once again?
Schools concerts, suitable for children aged 7 to 11 years of age.
Presented by NCH
Commissioned by NSOI and Bayerischer Rundfunk with the support of the Government of Ireland, as part of the Cultural Programme of Ireland’s 2026 Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
