A little quiet time, a good book, and a space to simply be.

Life can be busy, noisy and constantly demanding our attention. Sometimes, all we need is an opportunity to switch off, open a book and enjoy a little peace.

Join us at Chapter & Vines, a small, welcoming literary salon in Dublin 12, for our Silent Reading Evening.

Whether you’re an avid reader, hoping to rediscover your love of books, or simply looking for a different way to spend your evening, we’d love to welcome you.

What to expect:

* 90 minutes dedicated to slowing down and enjoying your own book.

* A warm, relaxed setting surrounded by books.

* Bring a book from home, purchase something new or borrow a Chapter & Vines book for the session.

* An opportunity to meet fellow book lovers without any pressure to socialise.

* A welcoming space whether you arrive on your own or with friends.

There’s no assigned book, no homework and no expectation to discuss what you’re reading. Just a little time set aside for yourself.

When: Tuesday, 13 October 2026, 7:00pm–8:30pm

Where: Chapter & Vines Literary Salon, Unit 1, Knockmitten Business Park, Knockmitten Lane, Dublin 12, D12 PX01.

Admission: Free, with advance registration required.

Our salon has limited capacity, allowing us to keep gatherings small and comfortable.

Please book your place in advance so we can arrange access to our gated business park.
