Coffee, Crafts and Chats with Mum's Hub
Date: Mon 26 Oct + 16 more
Location: Charleville Mall Library, Dublin 1

Join us in the Central Library for this talk where Belén Delgado will explore how AI is changing the online threat landscape, making scams, impersonation and social engineering increasingly sophisticated, personalised and convincing.
With a particular focus on the human side of online safety, she will examine why trust has become one of a business’s most valuable - and vulnerable - assets. She will also share recommendations and preventive measures to help small businesses recognise some of the most common online threats, reduce their exposure to them, and protect the trust and digital reputation they have built with their customers and communities.
The session is designed for small business owners and entrepreneurs who use online platforms to promote, communicate or do business with their customers. No technical or cybersecurity knowledge is required.
Belén Delgado is a Trust & Safety and Change Management leader with extensive experience across global technology companies including eBay, Meta, LinkedIn and Accenture. Her background spans online safety, fraud and investigations, digital trust, operational risk and collaboration with law enforcement internationally.
