The UCD Symphony Orchestra presents an evening of hugely popular classical masterpieces, showcasing student Ad Astra Scholar Stanislaus O’Beirne in a performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2. The programme also featuring works by Ina Boyle and Dmitri Shostakovich, and shall be rounded off by Respighi’s exuberant tone poem The Pines of Rome.
