Victorian Santa at Wicklow Gaol

Victorian Santa at Wicklow Gaol

About the event

Christmas at Wicklow Gaol brings a Victorian Santa to the historic gaol. Check in during your booked 30-minute window, enjoy a short festive activity, then meet Santa inside the Gaol for a personal family visit. Every infant and child receives a Christmas gift.

Dates: every Saturday and Sunday from 28 November to 20 December, plus Fridays 4, 11 and 18 December. Fridays run from 2pm to 7pm, and weekends from 10am to 7pm.

Tickets (every attendee needs one)

  • Infants (0 to 2): €15.95
  • Children (3 to 12): €22.95
  • Adults (13 and over): €12.95

Personal photos aren't allowed during the Santa visit; professional photos cost extra. The historic route has stairs and the market area is gravel, so contact the Gaol about access before booking.

Outside the Santa experience, the Gaol's Christmas market is free to enter, with craft and food huts, a café and a heated festive marquee.
