EVENT BOOKED OUT - Culture Club: Ib Jorgensen: A Fashion Retrospective with Alex Ward
Date: Fri 25 Sep
Location: National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin 7

Dublin boasts over 170 different decorative and building stones in its built fabric. Prof. Patrick Wyse Jackson leads a walking tour through the Irish and imported stone types used in everything from Georgian to modern buildings — their characteristics, how they formed, and how skilled stoneworkers shaped them.
The walks are based on the recently published book The Decorative and Building Stones of Dublin: a walking guide, co-authored by Prof. Wyse Jackson and Louise Caulfield.
Two tours run on the day, and you choose your preferred one when booking:
Each tour is limited to 20 places, so early booking is essential — and if you cannot make it, please cancel so your place can be reallocated. Bring suitable clothing and footwear. Under-16s must be accompanied by a guardian.
Part of Minerals in Action, the free European Researchers' Night programme running at Trinity College Dublin on 25 and 26 September.
