Wicklow Artists Salon #18: Storytelling from Palestine
About the event
Guest artist: Fidaa Ataya
In partnership with Yarn Storytelling Festival, this salon welcomes Palestinian storyteller Fidaa Ataya. Fidaa is a traditional storyteller, puppeteer, drama-in-education specialist and actress. She has performed with Hidden Theatre (Italy) and The Freedom Theatre (Palestine). She will be telling us about how she gathers and narrates stories, the importance of story-telling, and her preservation of the art in her homeland. As always at the salon, there will be time for mingling over refreshments, supplied by Mermaid’s Críoch Café.

The salon meets four or five times a year throughout Wicklow and warmly welcomes all professional artists living in the county.
