Last-Minute Pumpkin Patches Around Dublin

Halloween is two weeks away and you still haven't got the pumpkin. Don't panic. There are plenty of farms in and around Dublin where the kids can pick their own straight from the field, and most of them throw in tractor rides, animals, spooky trails or a maze too.
We've rounded up eight places you can still get to this season, all within an easy drive of the city. Tickets go fast at this time of year, so we've linked straight to each booking page.

Tips for a last-minute pumpkin trip
- Book before you go. Most of these run on timed tickets, and weekend slots near Halloween sell out first. Some tickets are non-refundable, so check the date twice.
- Wear wellies. Pumpkin fields are muddy in late October, rain or shine. Pack a change of socks for the car.
- Go early in the week if you can. Weekday and early slots are quieter, and the pick of the pumpkins is better.
- Check the dog rules. Some farms don't allow dogs, so look at the booking page before you bring yours.
- Bring a bag or a buggy. A big pumpkin gets heavy fast on the walk back to the car.

Happy pumpkin hunting
Whether you want a quick pick-your-own on a Saturday morning or a full spooky night out, there's still time to make it happen this year. Book your slot, pull on the wellies and go find the perfect pumpkin. Tag us in your photos — we'd love to see what you carve!
