A Sunday Afternoon of Theatre & Song 
Ever wondered where all those Irish songs everyone seems to know actually came from? This is a live, richly staged journey through Ireland's ballad tradition — stories of emigration, rebellion, love and loss, carried by some of the most powerful songs ever written. Whether you know every word or you're hearing them for the first time, you'll find yourself singing along by the interval. 
At the heart of the show is James Galllagher — guitar, banjo and vocals — whose sound reaches back to the golden era of Irish balladeering, when a single strong voice and a well-worn guitar could hold a room silent one moment and roaring the next. If you grew up on the Clancys, Luke Kelly, the Wolfe Tones, Danny Doyle or Jim McCann, you'll feel right at home. If you didn't, this is where it all began. 
Over two hours, Galllagher works through the great ballads — "The Auld Triangle," "Spancil Hill," "Dublin in the Rare Old Times," "The Rocky Road to Dublin," "The Town I Loved So Well" and more — telling the story of a people who have always sung their way through hard times and happy ones alike. This is a show built to be sung, not just watched, with the audience invited to join every chorus.
