'BEACONS' at TSEAC - Artist's Talk and Demonstration
Date: Wed 18 Nov
Location: The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre, Naul

She is a member of Graphic Studio Dublin where she creates etchings, using aquatint on a single copper plate to produce subtle fine-art prints of tone and colour. Through these prints, Susan Early examines lighthouses and martello towers as enduring maritime landmarks - structures shaped by their landscapes, responsive to the elements and emblematic of protection, navigation and resilience at the meeting point of land and sea.
Susan’s original fine-art prints are made by etching an image onto a copper plate, inking up this plate and printing it onto damp acid-free paper.
