Bram Stoker Festival: Making Faces! Family Mask-Making Workshop

Design and create your own Halloween-inspired mask at this family drop-in workshop led by visual artist Carrie Lynam. Inspired by objects featured in the Museum’s self-guided Halloween trail, participants will explore colour, texture, and creative techniques while making unique faces or characters in the Creativity Hub at Collins Barracks. What You’ll Experience

  • Design and create a unique Halloween mask
  • Experiment with colour, texture, and a variety of art materials
  • Take inspiration from objects featured in the Museum’s family Halloween trail
  • Enjoy a hands-on workshop facilitated by visual artist Carrie Lynam

Who Is This Event For?

  • Families and children interested in art, creativity, Halloween, and museum collections
  • Most suitable for children aged 7–12 years

All children must be fully supervised by a parent or guardian while on the premises.

Meet the Facilitator

Carrie Lynam is a visual artist and experienced arts educator. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is held in collections at The National Museum of Scotland and Kilkenny County Council.

The workshop runs from 13:30 to 15:00. Individual masks take approximately 25 minutes to make. Last entry at 14:30
