Schubert Winterreise

Experience one of the defining masterpieces of the song repertoire: Schubert’s Winterreise. This deeply introspective song cycle charts a journey through longing, isolation, and quiet despair, revealing the emotional range of the human heart. Often regarded as the ‘king’ of the genre, Schubert composed more than 600 Lieder (German art songs) during his short 31-year life.

Acclaimed as “peerless in this repertoire” by The New York Times, one of the most versatile and internationally sought-after baritones Matthias Goerne brings extraordinary authority, and emotional intensity to every note. He will be joined by musicians from the Camerata of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, a distinguished ensemble of orchestra members from one of the world's leading orchestras.

An intimate, moving, and unforgettable evening of music that will showcase the expressive power of voice and chamber ensemble at the highest level.
