What to expect
Returning for its 9th edition, the Castleknock Music Festival continues to bring outstanding live music to the heart of Fingal. Since 2017, the festival has grown into a much-loved cultural event, welcoming audiences of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy a variety of inspiring performances in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The 2026 festival will take place from 1–8 July across a range of unique and accessible local venues, including Castleknock Community Centre, Castleknock Community College, St. Brigid’s Church, and DIAS Dunsink Observatory.
This year’s programme promises a vibrant mix of concerts and special events designed to be enjoyed by everyone — whether you are a regular concertgoer or simply looking for a memorable evening out.

- Mozart 270 Anniversary Celebration — a spectacular orchestral concert featuring winners of the Castleknock Music Competition
- Summer Night of Music & Magic — a unique and entertaining evening combining live music with magical illusions
- Music under the Stars in partnership with DIAS Dunsink Observatory
- Once Upon a Tune: The Disney & Animation Experience — a special family concert bringing beloved music from film and animation to life
- And many other exciting performances by renowned artists across classical, jazz, and contemporary styles
