DRACULA
About the show
Fresh from sold-out seasons in London’s West End, San Francisco, Singapore, Australia and more in 2026, BIG Live’s critically acclaimed DRACULA makes its Irish debut in Dublin in 2027, as part of its major European tour.
Choreographed by Joel Burke and featuring a powerful score led by Emmy Award-winning composer Jason Fernandez. Featuring some of the most iconic pieces of music by Claude Debussy, Franz Liszt, Camille Saint-Saëns and Modest Mussorgsky.
The story begins in the 1600s, when the warrior Vlad renounces his faith after learning that his beloved wife has been condemned and killed, and is transformed into Dracula, Lord of the Vampires. Two centuries later, newlyweds Jonathan and Mina travel to Transylvania and into the Count’s castle – where Mina bears an uncanny resemblance to the love he lost.
With breathtaking choreography, hauntingly beautiful music, and stunning production design. A story of forbidden love, immortality and sacrifice, Dracula is a thrilling theatrical experience that has captivated audiences across Australia and abroad.
Don’t miss the arrival of one of the world’s most talked-about new ballet productions.
