Join librarian, curator, and writer Orla Fitzpatrick and local artist Angela Monks McDonagh as they re-visit their research into the houses on Arbour Hill and the impact of the First World War on local families. The talk will be of interest to anyone researching their own home and local history.

Afterwards, you are invited to join artist Clodagh Emoe for 100 Breaths, a site-specific temporary artwork developed around Clarke Square. By coming together at dusk for 100 Breaths can we reclaim this space of authority and invite a time of connection to unfold.

About Orla Fitzpatrick and Angela Monks McDonagh

Orla Fitzpatrick is a librarian, curator and writer from Stoneybatter. She is currently the librarian at Poetry Ireland where she is cataloguing the personal library of Seamus Heaney.

Angela Monks McDonagh is a local contemporary artist, who received the Artist In The Community scheme research and development award by the Arts Council in 2020. In collaboration with Aoife Cronin, she invited people to share stories of Stoneybatter by placing jars on the shelves in Lilliput Stores. She also devised and presented room, a platform to facilitate live art within the domestic space
