About the film

Bear is in love with his friend Nikki, but is too shy to tell her how he feels. When he finds a mysterious toy called a ‘One Wish Willow’ - that promises anyone that breaks it a single wish- he wishes that Nikki would fall in love with him. It unexpectedly works, and Bear and Nikkibegin dating. Things get strange fast, however, with Nikki’s behaviour becomingunpredictable and violent...Curry Barker’s low-budget ‘be careful with you wish for’ horror has become a culturalphenomenon thanks to its committed cast, creepy moments and dark sense of humour. IndeNavarrette is destined for stardom after her performance as Nikki, while Barker hasestablished himself as a major new director to watch.
