Donal Fallon (Three Castles Burning) interviews historian Warren Farrell (author of Curious Ireland: Forgotten People and Overlooked Places) on the strange history of body snatching in Irish cemeteries.
A guide at Dublin’s iconic Glasnevin Cemetery over many years, Warren’s previous publications include a history of Daniel O’Connell’s cemetery.
Hear the true stories of body snatching in earlier times, and how the law brought an end to this morbid industry as Warren explains the curious intersection of cemeteries and crime in Victorian Ireland.
