What to expect

Discover the magic of kiln fused glass in this fun and creative workshop. You’ll learn how to design and make your own glass panels for a beautiful lantern (included), perfect for your home or garden.

During the class, you’ll explore the fascinating world of fused glass and work with a variety of materials including textured glass, colored designs, noodles, stringers, frit, and glass nuggets. 

You’ll be guided step-by-step through how to cut and grind glass, as well as how to layer and assemble your pieces ready for firing in the kiln.

At the end of the workshop, Eddie will take the finished panels back to the studio to be kiln fired. Once they are ready for collection, all participants will be contacted.

No prior experience is necessary. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a creative maker, this workshop is a wonderful opportunity to relax, explore colour and texture, and create a unique glass lantern of your own.
