Graceless launch self-titled debut EP live at The New Theatre.
Four songs, four chapters. The Raven finds grace after grief. God’s Plan takes aim at how religion is used to divide and control. Underwater is about choosing to stay submerged. Pillow Talk closes the story somewhere lighter: a song for people who are bad at having crushes.
Imagine Sinéad O’Connor had an indie-alt affair with CMAT and added a splash of Florence Welch. BBC Introducing called Underwater “a confident release, think Arcade Fire, Florence and the Machine, and early evening on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.”
Graceless is Grace Tooher with bandmates Richie McNeill, Michele Doddi, Gavin Carroll and Ethan Butler, playing the full EP live in their first headline show as a five-piece.
Merch on the night: a limited run of 50 lathe-cut vinyl copies of the EP, each one cut individually. On sale after the show, first come, first served.
