About the show
The Murphy family invites you into their occasionally functional home to celebrate the holidays in rip-roaring style.
When the family's eldest daughter brings her American boyfriend back to Ireland, she promises him the perfect Irish Christmas. When they land, she finds much has changed since she left for New York - her parents are barely talking, a mysterious man has moved in, her grandfather is licking walls, and there's a miracle baby on the way.
