Philo

Philo

About the show

Philo is a powerful and darkly funny play by Peter Sheridan, brought to life by the outstanding performances of Neilí Conroy and Niamh McGrath. Based on a “real person”, it follows the story of Philo — a resilient, sharp-tongued Dubliner who has endured a lifetime of hardship but refuses to give up when her family’s future is on the line.

Set against the backdrop of Dublin’s inner city, this moving and often hilarious production explores friendship, survival, and hope in the face of adversity. Both heart-warming and heart-breaking, Philo is an unforgettable theatrical experience that will stay with you long after the final curtain.
