Celebrate Samhain 2026 with a special ghostly guided tour of historic Howth Castle as part of Fingal’s Home of Halloween Festival. Step inside one of Ireland’s most iconic castles and uncover centuries of history and legends. As you explore the castle’s atmospheric rooms and grounds, our resident historian will share captivating tales of ghostly encounters, remarkable characters and traditions linked to the origins of Halloween.
Suitable for families and history enthusiasts alike, this unique experience blends heritage and seasonal magic in an unforgettable setting. Please meet at the front entrance of the castle 10 minutes before your tour begins. The tour starts outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
Two tours take place at 16:30 and 18:00.
