Tommy Sands – “Every County on the Island” Tour

“You’re gallivanting all over the world with your music… but when are you going to come round our way?”

It was a simple message, one of many Tommy Sands found waiting for him at the end of last year, but it lingered. A moment of reflection followed, and then a call was made. The idea, long talked about, was set in motion.

Now, the time has come.

Renowned singer, songwriter and peace advocate, Tommy Sands brings his “Every County on the Island” Tour across Ireland, from Down to Cork, and everywhere in between returning to communities at the heart of his music and storytelling.

Over a remarkable lifetime, Tommy has travelled the world sharing songs of hope, reconciliation and humanity. From performing alongside Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez and Pete Seeger, to singing in places and moments of deep historical significance, his work has always carried a powerful message of connection and peace.

In this special performance, Tommy will share songs, stories and personal reflections gathered from decades on the road in what some might call “gallivanting,” but what has, in truth, been a life devoted to music, dialogue and understanding.

Expect an evening of heartfelt songs, gentle humour, and rich storytelling from one of Ireland’s most treasured voices.
