Johnstown Park

Johnstown Park

Overview

Johnstown Park sits between Finglas and Glasnevin in north Dublin. It has two soccer pitches, a GAA pitch, changing facilities, a playground and nature trails, and is well known for its 10 tennis courts, where lessons run all year.

Dublin City Council has a native tree trail for the park, in English and Irish.

Nature

The nature trails wind through the park's trees and meadows. Download the Johnstown Park Native Tree Trail from Dublin City Council's park page to identify the native trees along the way.

Getting there

The park is off Glasanaon Road, Finglas East, Dublin 11. Dublin Bus routes serve the Old Finglas Road and the Ballymun Road. Tolka Valley Park and Albert College Park are nearby, and the National Botanic Gardens are a short drive south.
