Bray Air Display 2023

It's 2-days of action & entertainment with the weekend kicking off Saturday, July 29th with ground entertainment from 12 noon daily followed by the airshow on Sunday, July 30th at 2 pm.

Highlight acts will include:

• The world-famous Red Arrows will once again blaze a trail over Bray this July.
• We help the Irish Air Corps celebrate 100 years of Irish military aviation.
• We welcome the RAF’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight to Irish skies. Seeing the iconic and historic Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane fly in formation will be very special and unique.
• The spectacular Royal Jordanian Falcons aerobatic team return all the way from the West Asian Kingdom.

Bray Air Display 2023 line-up

The airshow will only take place on Sunday, July 30th 2023 (Line-up is not in order of appearance):

• Prepare to be amazed at the Irish Air Corps aerobatic antics as we celebrate 100 years of Irish military aviation
• Watch the Irish Parachute Club and The Black Knights freefall onto Bray beach
• Eddie Goggins, aka The Flying Dentist’s jaw-dropping performance
• Old world glamour from the Irish Historic Flight Foundation Chipmunk and Stearman aircraft
• The Garda Air Support Unit once again makes a flying visit. They provide invaluable air support for Garda ground operations
• Ireland’s newest regional airline Emerald Airlines makes an appearance over the skies of Bray
• Vintage aviation-style from P51 Contrary Mary and the Catalina Flying Boat
• See the iconic and historic Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane fly in formation during a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
• Search and Rescue display, honouring the selfless men and women who play such a key role in safeguarding Irish lives
• Amazing aerobatic antics from the Royal Jordanian Falcons
• Picture perfect formation display from the world-famous Red Arrows
• Pilot Sean Bennett flies a Stearman
• The Aer Lingus Airbus A320 will be a showstopper
• Sweden’s Saab 37 Viggen or ‘thunderbolt’

About Bray Air Display

After a two-year hiatus the award-winning and hugely popular BrayAirDisplay will make a welcome return this summer. And it will be back bigger and better than ever with an incredible lineup including none other than the world-famous Red Arrows. The free, family event is one of the most popular air shows in Europe and Ireland’s biggest air festival, attracting thousands to the Co. Wicklow seaside town to marvel at amazing aerobatics. This year’s event will see the #BrayAirDisplay team up with the Irish Air Corps who are celebrating 100 years of Irish military aviation. We are really excited to welcome the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight to Irish skies. Seeing the iconic and historic Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane fly information will be very special and unique. The line-up will also include regular Bray visitors, the Royal Jordanian Falcons and the impressive M-346 Leonardo jet.

As well as the entertainment in the sky there’s plenty of action on the ground; where you can enjoy the thrills and spills of the Seafront Funfair, dine alfresco at our Food Village or even experience a breath-taking helicopter ride over Bray Head throughout the festival weekend, which kicks off on Saturday, July 29th with the spectacular return of the BrayAirDisplay on Sunday, July 30th 2023.
