Civic DFTS is a focused two-day encounter with the people who make theatre, film and television. It will bring Leaving Certificate and 5th Year students and their teachers into a working theatre to investigate how an idea moves from first impulse to performance or screen—and how creative choices can be observed, discussed, tested and evaluated.

DAY 1 Making Drama, Film & Theatre  Mon 9th November  9.30am-3.30pm (with breaks and lunch)  

DAY 2 Making Drama, Film & Theatre   Tues 10th November  9.30am-3.30pm (with breaks and lunch)

During the two days there will be sessions, workshops and discussions on drama, film and theatre closely linked to the new Drama, Film & Theatre Studies subject. 

These workshops will give students the opportunities to meet and learn from experienced industry professionals and connect with the prescribed material on the curriculum in a real and practical way. 

50 Spaces are available for Leaving Cert Students with accompanying 1/2 Teachers.
