Juanita the Cleaner has a big problem: a mountain of plastic she’s been collecting for a whole year. What can she do with it all? In this hilarious, interactive show, Europe’s leading female clown Angelica Santander uses dance, circus and binloads of humour to tackle plastic pollution head-on.

With plenty of help from the audience, Juanita’s Big Problem turns a global crisis into an important, hopeful, high-energy quest for solutions – with the audience coming up with all the best answers.

About Angelica Santander
Angelica, Ireland’s leading female clown, is originally from Chile and has been based in Dublin since 2002. She was the first artistic director of the Dublin Circus Project and holds a master’s in Theatre Studies from St Patrick’s College Dublin. Since 2009, Angelica has specialized in clowning, studying under renowned teacher Sue Morrison. Her work, blending theatrical, circus, and clowning elements, explores contemporary themes and questions the essence of humanity. Through performances like “Juanita’s Big Problem,” she seeks to inspire and challenge audiences, highlighting the transformative power of performance.
