Lucan Library

Overview

Lucan Library is a bright, modern South Dublin library on the first floor of Lucan Shopping Centre on the Newcastle Road. It has a large children's area, a seminar room for talks and workshops, and My Open Library, so members can use it from 8am to 10pm every day of the year.

About the library

The library opened in November 2000 and is reached by lift, at the far left of the shopping centre near the Dunnes Stores entrance. Families come for the children's area, robots and the tilt and play table; adults use the laptops, tablets and seminar room, which has a digital screen, projector and sound system for events.
