Ringsend Park

Ringsend Park

Overview

Ringsend Park is the big local park of Ringsend and Irishtown, between the villages and the Poolbeg peninsula. It has soccer and GAA pitches, all-weather pitches, an athletics track, a tennis court, a basketball court and a children's playground.

Its paths are popular for walks, and it is close to Irishtown Nature Park and the Poolbeg walk.

Getting there

Ringsend Park is off Strand Street and Irishtown Road, Dublin 4. Lansdowne Road and Sandymount DART stations are about 15 minutes' walk away, and Dublin Bus routes serve Ringsend. The Poolbeg Lighthouse walk starts a little further east, and Sandymount Strand is nearby.
