THE APEX SINGERS  The Apex Singers are an eight-part vocal ensemble celebrated for their bespoke a cappella arrangements of traditional folk songs from around the world. Their distinctive sound blends classical choral technique with traditional folk and contemporary a cappella, creating a richly textured and captivating musical experience. 
The Apex Singers regularly tour the UK and Ireland and have headlined festivals including the International Irish A Cappella Festival, Bolton Choirs Festival, and Banstead Arts Festival. Their recordings have received widespread recognition, earning six Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards, three A Cappella Video Awards, and the Best Music Video award at the British Independent Film Festival for The Mermaid Wife. 
ARDÚ Ardú is a six-part vocal band and pioneer of contemporary a cappella music in Ireland, who specialise in performing original arrangements of well-known folk and pop songs originating in Ireland and the world. Active for over a decade, to date they represented Ireland at international festivals in London, Edinburgh, Finland, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, supported by Culture Ireland. Ardú also regularly perform at high profile Irish festivals, such as FuddleFest, Your Roots Are Showing, Cashel Arts Festival, YouBloom, Boyle Arts Festival, City of Derry International Choir Festival and the Cork International Choral Festival. 
As ambassadors of the genre in Ireland, Ardú founded the Irish International A Cappella Festival and have released three studio albums to date, earning multiple nominations for the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards and the A Cappella Video Awards. Notable awards include first prize in Choirs for Christmas on RTÉ Lyric FM, as well as the audience award at the Vokal.Total festival in Austria and the Solala festival in Germany. 
VOCAL WORKSHOP (5:30-7pm) Led by Ardú and The Apex Singers, this 90-minute workshop explores the art of a cappella ensemble singing alongside group members and fellow vocal music enthusiasts. You’ll learn how to create a unified ensemble sound and join together in a performance with two internationally acclaimed vocal ensembles. This workshop is open to everyone, regardless of prior singing experience. No sheet music or prior preparation is required to participate. The material is taught by ear, allowing the session to focus on ensemble technique, listening skills, and blending as a group. The participants will be invited to perform the song on stage during the concert.
