TradFest Temple Bar 2022

Now that performance is possible again and we can gather together to experience the unique thrill of live music we return to our festival’s remit – to bring light to the end of a long dark Winter and usher in the Spring with a celebration of song, a week-long trad fanfare! As ever we will present a packed programmme with a little something for everybody – from the most committed to the merely curious. From the intimacy of our Smithwicks sessions to the soaring splendour of St Patrick’s Cathedral and other historic Dublin sites we can offer a range of ways to experience electrifying sets from international artists and home-grown heroes, household names and young turks. Firm Favourites Trad Fringe and Trad Kids are returning too.

To say that the past 18 months has been challenging for the live music industry would be quite the understatement. But we have endured and we are delighted and proud to announce that the stage is set for TradFest Temple Bar 2022. We are back with a full programme of amazing artists playing against breath-taking backdrops. We thank you for keeping the faith, for holding fast to the music that moves us.
