In 1829 Rossini’s extravagant final masterpiece entered the world with 90 high notes for the tenor (54 high B flats, 15 high Bs, 19 high Cs, 2 high C sharps), plus 3 men’s and 2 ladies’ choruses. Now it’s back in Dublin for the first time since 1877.
Irish National Opera presents Rossini's WILLIAM TELL, in their first co-production with Switzerland's Nouvel Opéra Fribourg. For a limited run of 5 performances only at the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin starring Brett Polegato, Jesús León, Konu Kim, Máire Flavin, Rachel Croash.
