Dalkey Castle is a medieval castle located in Dalkey, Ireland. It was built in the 14th century by the Fitzgerald family and has a rich history. The castle was originally a defensive structure, built to protect the town from attacks by sea. Over the centuries, it has also served as a residence for the Fitzgerald family and as a courthouse. Today, the castle is a popular tourist attraction and is open to the public for tours. It is managed by the Office of Public Works and is a designated National Monument.
