dlr LexIcon is an award-winning, five-storey cultural landmark that opened its doors in 2015. As Ireland’s largest and most visited public library, it welcomes an average of 1,300 visitors each day.
Home to over 135,000 items across its adult, junior and local history collections, the LexIcon also offers more than 60 public computers, 165 dedicated study spaces and a floor devoted to Local Studies and Irish authors. The building also houses the dlr Municipal Gallery, curated by the dlr Arts Office making it a vibrant hub for learning, creativity and community engagement.
