A tower, that the museum is found, was built in preparation for a possible invasion by Napoleon, which never happened. Today it holds James Joyce Museum, were visitors can explore and discover the life of James Joyce, an author of famous Ulysses and one of the most important writers in Irish history: letters, photographs, first and rare editions of his work, personal items and much more. Famous Ulysses was set on 16ths June 1904, a day on Irish minds as Bloomsday, when Joyce Tower Museum is open all day for readings and celebration.

After learning about one of the most famous Irish writer James Tower, its’ time to take the narrow winding stairs up and you’ll get to the roof and enjoy the panoramic views of Dublin Bay.
