The New Theatre presents This Sh*t Happens All The Time by Amanda Verlaque, running from November 17th-20th.
Writer Amanda Verlaque’s powerful, timely one-woman drama, This Sh*t Happens All The Time, makes its New Theatre debut following acclaimed runs at the Lyric Theatre, the Grand Opera House Studio, Belfast and last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
A deeply personal show about queer love, tummy flips, hearts skipping beats… and defending yourself against a homophobic bully.
1990s Belfast, Queen’s University, two young women fall in love.
But what if not everyone is so happy about your new relationship? This Sh*t Happens All The Time is the sexy, darkly funny and striking one-woman show that exposes homophobia, misogyny and coercive control to challenge the inequalities faced by the LGBTQ+ community.
Suitable for ages 14+, due to adult content.
